Nature Playscape Design
| This project illustrates I&L’s nature playscape design and construction services as Owner’s Representative experience. Forest Park Forever retained Intuition & Logic to design the interactive playscape channel in the new 17-acre Anne O’C. Albrecht Nature Playscape. This experiential play space with natural landscapes features sand play areas, willow tunnels, stump steppers, boulders and rocks, hand water pumps and much more. I&L’s design includes an Ozark style ledge-rock and boulder channel playscape with pools, steps, climbing waterfall and flat play areas. The design also included stormwater management and erosion control for the trails throughout the 17 acre area. |
| I&L services include negotiation with the park’s contractor to utilize on site material as much as practical, coordinate channel design with Forest Park Forever Staff, coordinate construction cost with the contractor, construction change orders, on site measurements, pay application review and punch list. |
